South Branch Library to Undergo Carpet Replacement Project starting Dec. 16 ; Limited Services Available

Starting December 16, the South Branch will be operating with limited services for approximately one month we undergo a comprehensive carpet replacement project. Call 970-453-3544 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for more information.

Services Available:

  • Holds pickup available Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm during most of the project period; Patrons can continue to place holds at through the online catalog at summit.marmot.org/
  • Online digital resources remain fully accessible so you can enjoy digital books, audiobooks, streaming services, and databases from the comfort of home
  • Limited special programming and events available December 16-24. Check the library’s events calendar for the most up-to-date information: summitco.librarycalendar.com/events/week
  • Outdoor book drop
  • Telephone/Email assistance from South Branch staff

Program Description

Event Details

Join guest instructor, Lori Whipple from Wonderforest, and celebrate creativity and color this summer with our Branch Weaving workshop.  Using natural branches and colorful yarn, participants of most ages can create unique, woven art.  All materials and instruction provided and you are welcome to bring your own branches and yarn if you wish.  Maximum 10 attendees.  Ages 8+ allowed but 12 and under must have adult with them.
