South Branch Library to Undergo Carpet Replacement Project starting Dec. 16 ; Limited Services Available

Starting December 16, the South Branch will be operating with limited services for approximately one month we undergo a comprehensive carpet replacement project. Call 970-453-3544 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for more information.

Services Available:

  • Holds pickup available Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm during most of the project period; Patrons can continue to place holds at through the online catalog at summit.marmot.org/
  • Online digital resources remain fully accessible so you can enjoy digital books, audiobooks, streaming services, and databases from the comfort of home
  • Limited special programming and events available December 16-24. Check the library’s events calendar for the most up-to-date information: summitco.librarycalendar.com/events/week
  • Outdoor book drop
  • Telephone/Email assistance from South Branch staff

Program Description

Event Details

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to paint, collage or otherwise creatively decorate a flowerpot to celebrate the arrival of springtime in Summit County! All crafting materials will be provided, and participants will leave with their decorated pot and either an array of fake flowers or resources directing them to the Seed Library, which can be found at the South Branch Library in Breckenridge. Snacks will be provided and sign-up is free. This event will be held directly following the 2nd meeting of North Branch Library's Youth Advisory Council.
