The South Branch in Breckenridge is operating with limited services as we undergo a comprehensive carpet replacement project. The library will reopen with fresh floors on January 20. Event Details

Get in the holiday spirit with Summit County Library's annual Gingerbread House Contest! Whether you're a seasoned architect or a first-time builder, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Create your construction at home and then bring it to any of our 3 libraries library by December 13th for public voting.

Rules:

  • All materials must be edible
  • Maximum base size of 18” x 18”
  • Participate in one of two age groups: "13 and Younger" or "14 and Older"
  • Drop off your gingerbread house creations at any library location from December 1 - 13. 

Voting will be held in-person at each library from December 15-20. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, December 22. 

And don't forget to pick up your holiday masterpieces before January 6th!
