Event Details

Get in the holiday spirit with Summit County Library's annual Gingerbread House Contest! Whether you're a seasoned architect or a first-time builder, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Create your construction at home and then bring it to any of our 3 libraries library by December 13th for public votingt!

Rules:

  • All materials must be edible
  • Maximum base size of 18” x 18”
  • Participate in one of two age groups: "Under 13" or "14 and Older"
  • Drop off your gingerbread house creations at any library location from December 1 - 13. 

Voting will be held in-person at each library from December 15-20. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, December 22. 

And don't forget to pick up your holiday masterpieces before January 6th!
