South Branch Library to Undergo Carpet Replacement Project starting Dec. 16 ; Limited Services Available

Starting December 16, the South Branch will be operating with limited services for approximately one month we undergo a comprehensive carpet replacement project. Call 970-453-3544 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for more information.

Services Available:

  • Holds pickup available Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm during most of the project period; Patrons can continue to place holds at through the online catalog at summit.marmot.org/
  • Online digital resources remain fully accessible so you can enjoy digital books, audiobooks, streaming services, and databases from the comfort of home
  • Limited special programming and events available December 16-24. Check the library’s events calendar for the most up-to-date information: summitco.librarycalendar.com/events/week
  • Outdoor book drop
  • Telephone/Email assistance from South Branch staff

Join two award-winning authors, Julian Rubinstein and Tracy Ross, as they co-host a Nonfiction Author Talk at the Community and Senior Center in Frisco. 

Julian Rubinstein will discuss his experience reporting inside a misunderstood Denver community to uncover a story that became his book “The Holly: Five Bullets, One Gun and the Struggle to Save an American Neighborhood”. He will also be discussing how he is making a career as a freelance journalist.

Tracy Ross will be sharing her experiences as an author and an editor with Backpacker and Skiing magazines. Summit County writers will have the opportunity to work closely with Tracy the following day at the Adult Writers’ Brunch.
