Part Book Club|Part Workshop
Join us as we read and write our way through varying poets and forms. Each month we will read a collection of poetry, discuss some selections, and share our own poems inspired by the collection. Books are available for check out at meetings and the Main Library.
This Summer Reading Program is themed "Unearth a Story." Together, we will explore the many ways we can unearth through poetry: Unearthing Muslim, female identity; extinct peoples and species; memory of a once thriving empire; and meaning from experimental forms.
All skill levels welcome. Poetry skeptics encouraged. 18+
