South Branch Library to Undergo Carpet Replacement Project starting Dec. 16 ; Limited Services Available

Starting December 16, the South Branch will be operating with limited services for approximately one month we undergo a comprehensive carpet replacement project. Call 970-453-3544 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for more information.

Services Available:

  • Holds pickup available Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm during most of the project period; Patrons can continue to place holds at through the online catalog at summit.marmot.org/
  • Online digital resources remain fully accessible so you can enjoy digital books, audiobooks, streaming services, and databases from the comfort of home
  • Limited special programming and events available December 16-24. Check the library’s events calendar for the most up-to-date information: summitco.librarycalendar.com/events/week
  • Outdoor book drop
  • Telephone/Email assistance from South Branch staff

School is out, so grab your favorite people and come hang out at the South Branch Understory for spooky season crafts, cider, and other activities before hitting the streets for trick or treating! Costumes encouraged but not required. Open for all ages, but youth under 12 years old must have an adult with them. 

*Note: The Understory has sewing supplies and other craft supplies for last-minute costume emergencies*
