South Branch Library to Undergo Carpet Replacement Project starting Dec. 16 ; Limited Services Available

Starting December 16, the South Branch will be operating with limited services for approximately one month we undergo a comprehensive carpet replacement project. Call 970-453-3544 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for more information.

Services Available:

  • Holds pickup available Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm during most of the project period; Patrons can continue to place holds at through the online catalog at summit.marmot.org/
  • Online digital resources remain fully accessible so you can enjoy digital books, audiobooks, streaming services, and databases from the comfort of home
  • Limited special programming and events available December 16-24. Check the library’s events calendar for the most up-to-date information: summitco.librarycalendar.com/events/week
  • Outdoor book drop
  • Telephone/Email assistance from South Branch staff

Event Details

Register for a private, 30-minute slot to go over some basic technology questions with a library staff member. Please bring your device as well as any passwords you may need. If you need to cancel your appointment, you can through the email confirmation or give us a call.

We can assist with:

  • ebooks/eReaders
  • Basic computer navigation
  • Basic app use
  • Basic cellphone use
  • Basic tablet use
  • General internet instruction
  • Research beyond Google
  • Using library electronic resources

We cannot assist with:

  • Designing or formatting documents, flyers, etc.
  • Fixing/Restoring/Repairing a broken or infected device, app, or email account
  • Entering sensitive information for you (e.g. credit card information, social security number, online banking, etc.)
  • Keyboarding, typing, or proofreading documents
  • Cannot provide medical, legal, and business advice or opinions
