Program Description

Event Details

Meditation works with the natural state of the human mind—at rest, open, and alert. When practiced regularly, it allows the mind to settle, revealing innate qualities such as stability, clarity, and inner strength. This 45 minute introductory class includes a short talk, a 15-minute, lightly guided sitting meditation, and time for discussion and questions. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.  Chairs provided.

Holly is a mindfulness meditation teacher with a certification from Dharma Moon and Tibet House. She is currently studying for a second certification to teach in the Shambhala tradition. (Also secular)
