Week Calendar

For ages 18+ on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:15pm. September will be on the lawn outside of the Main Library in Frisco. If weather is bad we will move inside the building to the Mount Royal Room.

Upcoming Reads:

Meditation works with the natural state of the human mind—at rest, open, and alert. When practiced regularly, it allows the mind to settle, revealing innate qualities such as stability, clarity, and inner strength.

Bring a story to life by reading aloud straight from a grade-level children's book. Participants will rehearse, pick props, and share a "performance" for family and friends at the end of the program.  

For adults who want to learn to sew, or brush up on the experience they had in the 4th grade. This workshop is a series of 4 classes, focused on the sewing machine and all its parts, sewing a straight line, mitered corners, and more!

Become an inventor at Tinker Lab! In this hands on program for 3rd-5th graders, children will have the opportunity to build an object of their own design.

Be prepared for the upcoming cold season with a few natural products. We will be making a couple herbal remedies that will soothe and comfort sore throats. This workshop will include a hands on approach to making herbal medicine.

Test your wits with Riddle Me This! The first of many monthly gameshow-style events, this hour of riddles will challenge players' critical thinking and research skills.
